  • D&D in a Castle is a 4-day luxury, all-inclusive tabletop gaming retreat. The event is hosted in a genuine English Castle when in the UK, or in a fantastical Castle-Hotel in the USA.

    Guests eat, sleep and game in the Castle for 4 days and nights. Every guest plays a 24-hour Campaign with a world-class professional Dungeon Master and up to 5 other guests for about 8 hours each gaming day.

    During the remaining hours, guests can choose between more tabletop gaming (one-shots) and other activities, such as game-related crafting, escape rooms, workshops, panels and outdoor games.

    All meals are prepared by the Castle's own chefs, and guests stay in the guest rooms of the Castle, which is always a thematic hotel.

“Fallen Darklords” by Dungeon Master Beth the Bard | April 15-19, 2026

Fallen Darklords is a gothic horror campaign where redemption and ruin walk hand in hand. You’ll play as former tyrants or tragic figures—powerful beings stripped of their domains, now trapped in a cursed land that reflects the sins of their past lives. Haunted by memory and hunted by fate, you must decide whether to atone, escape, or reclaim what was lost. This story is steeped in dark fantasy, moral tension, and surreal landscapes shaped by regret. Will you confront your former self… or become something worse?

“Mournveil” By Dungeon Master Edward Spence | April 15-19, 2026

One of the Domains of Dread, this once verdant land plucked from the Material Plane now stands behind the great Mist Wall. Werewolves stalk the woods. Hags offer dark temptations in the forests. Dread shapes swim deep beneath the water of The Pallid Lake. Witch hunters track down magic users, hellbent on the eradication of the arcane.
The seven Standing Settlements are all that remain. Fading bastions of hope, it is in these crumbling cities that the citizens of Mournveil survive and dare to hope, praying for a day when the sun will shine once more. But such a thing has not happened in hundreds of years. And under the cruel eye of the Vampire Counts, it likely never will again...

In the far north of a lonely isle in the Nord Sea, the beasts of the earth struggle in endless conflict. Kings rise like the grass of the field and fall like rain from the sky. Armies march to the beat of drums for the winning of a mile of arable land. Vast monstrosities like the snake or the owl prey ever upon those creatures desperate to eke a living out of the ground.
This is the island of Deoria, where mice rule their petty kingdoms in a world where everything wishes them dead. You play the role of one of those mice, serving your lord, protecting your fellow mice, and protecting the future of the kingdom you serve. Life is often short and bloody for those in your line of work, but the glories are tenfold. Be you thegn, villein, freemus or serf, all have their role.
Death in the Musfolde is a love letter to the likes of Redwall, Secret of NIMH, Animals of Farthing Wood, and Watership Down. You play the part of a tiny creature in an impossibly wide world, struggling to make their mark and forge their legacy.

“Glam & Glittergroove” By Dungeon Master The GM Tim | April 15-19, 2026

The most unapologeticallly queer GAYme of Dungeons & Dragons ever offered at D&D in a Castle. All are welcome, whether queer, allies, or just up for a lot of over-the-top fun, and a hefty dose of glitter. In this GLAMpaign, the PCs form a popular band famed across the realms for their vibrant performances and magical melodies. A jealous rival band, "Glittergroove," has stolen the legendary "Gem of Glamour" - an enchanted crystal that makes music magically charged, adding special effects and a Charmed condition to those listening. The band must retrieve the gem so Glittergroove can't use it, then win battles of the bands!

You and your colleagues are agents of The Kargat, the infamous police force of the Lich-King Azalin Rex, Lord of the Dread Domain of Darkon. Azalin has long chafed under the yoke of the Dark Powers and the chains that bind him, and has launched many bids to win his freedom over the long centuries. With the coming of a multiversal convergence, the undead ruler finally sees a chance to escape his prison... Will you help him seize it, and possibly alter the nature of the Domains of Dread forever more?

As reality frays and cults devoted to chaos grow bolder, you are called upon to aid Calimshan and protect the nation from falling to complete madness and destruction. To stop this great peril, your party must unravel cryptic mysteries, solve ancient puzzles, strike dangerous bargains with forgotten beings, and risk warping the very fabric of time and space itself. Some things were never meant to be unearthed, and if the darkness isn't sealed back beneath the sands, no known power in Faerûn will be able stop what comes through!

Family Mode | April 21-25, 2026

Experience D&D in a Castle with the young enthusiast in your life, for an unparalleled bonding adventure. Players under 18 (minimum 14 years of age) must be accompanied by a chaperone and register as "Family Mode" guests, along with their adult companion. This ensures that both youth and chaperone are assigned to the same Campaign, with a Dungeon Master and fellow players who are prepared to have younger players at their table. Youth are treated like adult playing guests, and D&D in a Castle expects that they are prepared to participate as such.
