Bio
Steve was one of the founders of the original White Wolf, publisher of Vampire: the Masquerade. Steve later founded DriveThruRPG and now serves as President of Roll20. He was one of the lead creators of Mage: the Ascension roleplaying game, as well as assisting in the creation of several World of Darkness roleplaying games and contributing to games like Exalted, Scion, and more. Steve’s passion for roleplaying games as entertainment and an art form stretches from D&D across a whole gamut of games.
Game Style
For campaign play, Steve draws heavily from player-created character backstories to craft adventures with intricate plots that interweave each character’s narrative with greater campaign events. Play spans tactically challenging combats and high stakes roleplaying scenes. The story unfolds with player-driven plot turns and pivotal decisions made amid morally challenging circumstances – all with doses of both tragedy and humor.
